At some stage in peoples lives, they will suffer from depression. However, when this feeling of deep sadness, hopelessness and depression lasts for a prolonged amount of time, it becomes a crippling illness. The good news is that there is hope – it is possible for the dark clouds in your mind to clear into a beautiful, clear and positive outlook on life.
To those reading who are currently suffering from depression: You are capable of changing this, you are capable of being happy. Maybe as you read this, there are some doubts and your mind may be telling you that in your case this is not going to work. That’s ok. Take a moment to acknowledge any doubts you have, take a moment to listen to whatever your mind is telling you. Thank it for what it is telling you, but now give yourself permission to IGNORE it. That’s right – ignore it. Your mind has helped you to reach a deep state of depression, it is not always right and we do have the choice in each moment to listen or not. At this stage all you need is an open mind and to consider that this might actually work for you

of 18 and suffered from depression for 13 years. I was hooked on antidepressant medicine for 12 years, and I overcame it.
I was a real hopeless case, and yet, in 2014 I was able to completely get off my medication and now I feel contentment.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COURSE
During this course you will receive a weekly video, workbook and guided meditation presenting you with a remedy to depression. These provide you with information explaining the remedy as well as a number of practical exercises to help you to incorporate it into your life. You will also receive one private session with me per week to give you the opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback, support and motivation.

Below is a brief overview of the remedies offered. Each week you will investigate and practice a new remedy.
REMEDY 1: DIVERTING THE MIND
The root cause of depression and what keeps it spiralling deeper is negative thoughts.
Our mind becomes conditioned to only thinking negative, which causes us to feel deeply depressed.
And it feels like there is not way out. The mind must be diverted/relieved from these negative thoughts, it must be settled.
There are two powerful ways that help:
1. Pranayama: A series of active breathing techniques that calms, energises and balances the mind and body. The techniques bring more vital energy into our energy channels which clears any blockages, improving depression and other health issues.
2. Chanting Mantra: Thousands of years ago yogis collected sound vibrations from nature. Certain sound vibrations (mantras) match the characteristics of different parts of our mind and body, and when repeated (chanted) they can create deep healing and transformation. Chanting mantra focuses the mind, increases our energy levels and helps us to experience deep peace.
REMEDY 2: PARENTING YOUR INNER CHILD
Our inner child is the emotional, sensitive and playful part of ourselves. This part of us needs parenting, especially when we are feeling depressed. Many of us do not know how to parent ourselves as we were not given the love, support and encouragement by our own parents. We may have taken on the critical, judgemental voice of our parents and now speak to ourselves in this way. In this module you will learn how to connect to your inner child, discover what you need and be kind to yourself. Its amazing what can happen when this part of ourselves is firstly recognised, and then nurtured and loved
REMEDY 3: IMPROVING PHYSICAL HEALTH
Depression can be worsened by poor physical health conditions. During this module we will look at improving your physical health so that your body feels at its optimum and gives more relief to your mind. We will be discussing nutrition, diet and physical movement.
REMEDY 4: TRANSFORMING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS INTO POSITIVE ONES
Negative thoughts can come into our mind at any time throughout the day. One negative thought and cause a huge spiralling of negative thoughts which can lead to paralysing depression. It is important to learn the tools to combat the very first negative thought so that it cannot spiral downwards. In this module you will learn tools that you can apply instantly to any negative thoughts.
REMEDY 5: REMOVING ADDICTIONS
Addictions such as alcoholism can prevent long term relief from depression. Many people use alcohol, drugs, food or sex as a way to self-medicate and numb the painful feelings. It’s a way to escape and gain relief. However long term the addition itself is the main cause for the depression. For a happy and healthy life this should be addressed. During this module there will be suggestions on ways to support you to conquer any addictions.
REMEDY 6: MEDITATION ON GRATITUDE
Gratitude is a powerful tool in transforming the way we feel very quickly. It diverts our mind to positive things. Many people as they begin the course will not be able to access any gratitude due to the pain of the depression. By the time you reach this module you will be more open to it. It is not only about writing a gratitude list but also meditating on the feeling of gratitude within your heart. Embodying the feeling of gratitude.
A SUPER CHARGED KICK START
You might be thinking, this all sounds good, but I am sure not sure that I will have the energy to practice the techniques and do
the activities because I struggle to even get out of bed.
I knew for myself; my depression was so severe that even though I wanted to do certain
activities that I know might help me, I did not have the energy or motivation to actually do them. That then made me feel worse,
because the tools and techniques where available to me but I couldn’t actually begin!
For those people whose depression is so crippling, where it is almost impossible to have the motivation and energy to get started,
a solution is included in this course. A one on one online session with Dr Jagatambe Narayani.
